Wills Eye Physicians Top The Ophthalmologist’s 2024 Power List

Six doctors at Wills Eye ranked on this year’s list recognizing ophthalmology trailblazers

PHILADELPHIA, April 30, 2024 – Six remarkable Wills Eye Hospital physicians were recognized for their excellence and impact through inclusion on the 2024 Power List by The Ophthalmologist, an industry magazine based in the United Kingdom.

In August 2023, The Ophthalmologist named two Wills Eye physicians to its Hall of Fame list which was created in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Power List. The Hall of Fame recognizes ophthalmologists and scientists whose impact on the field will last beyond their lifetimes. Wills Eye physicians acknowledged were:

Power List awardees are nominated by colleagues, peers, and readers of The Ophthalmologist. Criteria specifically centers on impact made in the areas of innovation, research, education, and mentorship.
