Kristin M. DiDomenico, MD is a comprehensive ophthalmologist and a member of the teaching staff in the Cataract and Primary Eye Care Service at Wills Eye Hospital. She teaches both in the clinic and in the operating room and also is on the faculty at Sidney Kimmel Medical College. Dr. DiDomenico has a special interest in cataract surgery using the femtosecond laser and astigmatism correcting lenses. She was the first woman in Pennsylvania certified on the Catalys femtosecond laser for cataract surgery.
Dr DiDomenico pursued her undergraduate studies at the University of Scranton where she graduated first in her class from the College of Arts and Sciences. She then attended Sidney Kimmel Medical College in Philadelphia for her medical degree, earning the highest GPA in the graduating class of 2010. Dr. DiDomenico completed a medical internship at Lankenau Medical Center. She then completed a three year residency at Wills Eye Hospital.
