Areas of Interest
Iga Gray, MD, PhD is a fellowship trained ophthalmologist specializing in the medical and surgical treatment of cataracts and glaucoma. Dr Gray graduated from Georgetown University magna cum laude with a degree in Biology. She was awarded the prestigious Churchill Scholarship for Advanced Study and received a Master’s degree in pharmacology (MPhil) from the University of Cambridge in England. She next completed a combined MD-PhD program at the Washington University in St Louis.
Dr. Gray joined the staff at the Wills Eye Hospital after completing her ophthalmology residency and glaucoma fellowship at the Scheie Eye Institute at the University of Pennsylvania. She has presented her research at numerous national and international conferences and has a strong interest in teaching and medical education.
Dr. Gray is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), American Glaucoma Society (AGS), and Women in Ophthalmology (WIO).
