Biography

Dr. Derham is a board-certified, fellowship-trained cornea specialist. She pursued her undergraduate degree at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY and received her medical degree from Sidney Kimmel Medical College in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Derham completed her residency in Ophthalmology at New York Medical College, where she served as chief resident. Subsequently, she completed a fellowship in Cornea and External Disease and Refractive Surgery at Corneal Associates of New Jersey.

Dr. Derham’s areas of interest include corneal conditions such as dry eye, cornea swelling (including Fuch’s dystrophy) and cornea distortions from scarring or genetic conditions. In addition, she provides laser vision correction (LASIK, PRK), implantable contact lenses, and premium cataract surgery.

Dr. Derham is also pleased to manage general ophthalmology cases, including those involving glaucoma and retina conditions.
