Biography

Brett M. Weinstock, MD serves on the Cataract and Primary Eye Care Service at Wills Eye Hospital where teaches medical care and surgical techniques to treat ophthalmic disease.
Dr. Weinstock attended Brown University, where he studied biomedical engineering and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a research honors thesis. He then completed medical school at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City, graduating with honors, distinction in research, and was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Society. He went on to complete his residency at Wills Eye Hospital, training on the most advanced technologies available for eye surgery. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS).
Dr. Weinstock practices comprehensive ophthalmology, treating patients with a wide variety of conditions. His surgical interests include cataract and laser refractive eye surgery (LASIK/PRK). He offers laser assisted cataract surgery, advanced technology intraocular lenses (extended depth of focus, multifocal, and astigmatism correcting), minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) and complex anterior segment surgery including cataract surgery after LASIK or retinal detachment.
