When her ophthalmologist, Dr. Beeran Meghpara, joined the Wills Eye Hospital staff, Denise went with him for cornea transplant surgery.

Denise, a retired AT&T District Manager knows something about teamwork. “Dr. Meghpara is an excellent surgeon, great person. And the team supporting him, especially his longtime technician, Heather, is worthy of commendation. Prior to my DMEK procedure, the anesthesiologist, Dr. Berkowitz, knew of my sensitivity to anesthesia and spoke with me to arrive at the right formulation. The nurses Robin, Angela, Carey, Gay and Joe, I remember their names because they took a real interest in me. Even with my follow-up visits, everyone is professional, pleasant and courteous. Amazing people.
