Wills Eye Doctors Receive PAO Humanitarian Award

The Pennsylvania Academy of  Ophthalmology were honored with the Pennsylvania Academy of Ophthalmology (PAO) Humanitarian Service Award in recognition of their efforts in creating a state wide Diabetic Eye Screening program for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in 2025.

This Is awarded for The purpose to recognize Academy members' participation in charitable activities, indigent care, community service and other humanitarian activity through a program of public service. Individuals must perform this public service in their capacity as an ophthalmologist.
