Visiting Medical Student Clinical Electives

Thank you for your interest in taking an elective at Wills Eye Hospital.    Wills Eye serves as the Department of Ophthalmology at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University.  We accept students in their final year of training from both LCME approved schools (U.S. and Canadian medical schools) and international medical Colleges with whom Sidney Kimmel Medical College has a formal affiliation.

All applications for electives at Wills Eye Hospital can be made through The Visiting Student Application Service (VSAS).  If you have any questions about clinical electives at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University, please email visitingstudent@jefferson.edu.
