Sydney L. Tyson, MD, MPH is a board certified ophthalmologist and an attending surgeon on the Cataract and Primary Eye Care Service at Wills Eye Hospital where is is involved in resident education. A Harvard Medical School graduate, Dr. Tyson went on to Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for his internship then to Wills Eye Hospital for his residency in ophthalmology. Since 1999, he has served on the editorial board for evidence-based eye care which is a medical journal for practicing clinicians.
