This conference will focus on cataract surgery as a constantly changing area of ophthalmology, needing new techniques and technologies as well as new uses for existing technologies. These techniques vary in relation to the diversity of clinical situations encountered in the day-to-day practice of ophthalmology. For many physicians in community ophthalmic practice, the exposure to these new strategies is limited to journals and periodicals or “word-of-mouth" information from colleagues. Through this conference, participants will develop best practices by reviewing case presentations from the presenters and be able to discuss its complexities.
