Dr. McNamara’s Legacy
Dr. J. Arch McNamara as a member of the Retina Service of Wills Eye Hospital. Widely renowned for his expertise in retinopathy of prematurity (ROP), his landmark work, the promotion of laser treatment for ROP, will be his legacy, affecting the visual lives of countless children.
