The 1832 Society recognizes donors who have made an annual leadership gift of $1,832 or more with no restrictions to Wills Eye Hospital. These benefactors provide vital financial resources for Wills Eye to address its highest priority needs in research, medical education, and patient care.
 
In gratitude for their generosity, Wills Eye recognizes and thanks these benefactors in a variety of ways. This includes invitations to special events which highlight the impact of their philanthropy and periodic communications from Hospital leadership to keep them informed of the latest news.

James Wills Society

The James Wills Society recognizes those individuals who have made plans in their estate to support Wills Eye Hospital in the same tradition as Quaker merchant James Wills, Jr. whose generous bequest established Wills Eye in 1832.
 
Through bequests, endowments, charitable trusts, insurance and gift annuities, members of The James Wills Society demonstrate their understanding of the importance of ensuring that the mission and services of Wills Eye are available far into the future.
