President Trump is scheduled to be in Philadelphia on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at The National Constitution Center (NCC) in the Independence Mall area. Increased police presence is anticipated in Center City throughout Tuesday afternoon and evening. Please allow extra time if you are going to Wills Eye. Please be advised of area street closures to vehicles beginning at 1:00PM on Tuesday 9/15. Pedestrian access will also be limited in the area. This is subject to change and area restrictions, which could widen, will be lifted once the President departs the NCC. There are also demonstrations planned for Tuesday 9/15 around Independence Mall as well as City Avenue.

December 18, 2017-Philadelphia PA -Wills Eye Hospital, an internationally-respected medical center specializing in eye care, has extended its services to well vision and optical with its first Philadelphia locations named Wills Eye Wear now open and an additional location set for Fall 2018 in one of the city’s most anticipated revitalized shopping areas -- Fashion District of Philadelphia.

It made complete sense,” said Wills Eye CEO Joseph P. Bilson. “Our patients and healthcare partners had been asking us for this for some time so, we want to provide what patients need,” he added. Well vision services refer to basic eye exams, follow up maintenance exams for healthy eyes, refraction, and vision correction with eyeglasses or contact lenses.

As part of the new initiative, Wills Eye has hired excellent staff for its current locations and has tapped a member of the Wills Eye Management Team, Joe Frattali, to manage the business line. More employees will be hired as locations are added in the coming year. Wills Eye Wear store hours at the hospital’s main location at 840 Walnut Street on the 12th floor are 8:30-5:30 Monday through Friday. Its Arch Street location is Monday-Friday 9:00-6:00pm and Saturday 10am-4pm.
