Biography

Mary Stefanyszyn, MD is an attending physician on the Oculoplastic & Orbital Surgery Service at Wills Eye Hospital. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Natural Science from University of Pennsylvania and her medical degree from Harvard Medical School. Dr. Stefanyszyn continued her medical training with fellowships at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia and the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology, Washington, DC. She then completed a fellowship in Orbital and Lacrimal Surgery at Moorfields Eye Hospital, London, England.

Active in various professional organizations, Dr. Mary Stefanyszyn has been recognized throughout her career with many honors and awards, including Fellow American College of Surgeons, American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, American Board of Ophthalmology, Fellow American Academy of Ophthalmology, Diplomate of National Board of Medical Examiners.

In addition, she is a member of the Annual Wills Eye Conference Committee, International Society for Orbital Disorders, and Harvard Medical School Alumni Council.
