Residency Manual
(excerpt from manual)
It is not possible to present all the information that a resident may need in a single manual. What we hope is that at least some of the more common questions that are asked will find answers in these pages. Although this manual is mostly a collection of policy statements governing resident activities at Wills Eye and affiliated institutions, we have also included other useful information. Some of the topics covered include information on resident obligations and responsibilities with regard to patient care, educational programs, and the benefits provided to the residents. Descriptions and goals of various rotations as well as tips from fellow residents on how to "survive" a rotation are also included. The appendix has several forms, which can be copied to evaluate rotations and attendings.
We hope that this manual will be useful in making your experience at Wills Eye easier, and hope to continue improving it during the next millennium! All suggestions welcome.
