Interests: My current areas of interest and research focus both on tearing problems and periocular soft tissues. In the area of tearinf, I am interested in both pediatric and adult tearing issues. THis involves the underlying causes as well as treatments of these problems. Current research is being done to evaluate surgical outcomes for a variety of surgical techniques in the pediatric population with congenital nasolacrimal duct obstruction. I also have an interest in eyelid and periocular soft tissue like the brow area and midface. This includes the full spectrum of both disease processes involving these structures as well as age related changes in the anatomy of these areas as they pertain to both cosmetic and functional surgery.
