Dr. Haller, one of the world's most renowned retinal surgeons, comes to Wills Eye from the Wilmer Institute
of Johns Hopkins University where she previously held the positions of Robert Bond Welch, M.D. Professor
and inaugural Katharine Graham Professor of Ophthalmology, and Director of the Vitreoretinal Surgical
Fellowship Training Program. This graduate of Princeton University and Harvard Medical School is President
of the American Society of Retina Specialists, and a distinguished scholar and researcher who has published
more than 220 articles and book chapters on the treatment of eye disorders. Wills Eye Health System is
proud to bring Dr. Haller and her internationally recognized expertise and leadership to our region.
