J. Arch McNamara

1955 – 2010

The J. Arch McNamara, MD, Memorial Fund for Retina Research and Education, established in tribute to Dr. McNamara by his colleagues in the Retina Service at Wills Eye Institute, advances clinical research that will yield improved and new treatment options for people with retinal disorders.

The Fund fosters research performed by Faculty and Fellows in the Retina program and by Wills Eye Residents interested in the subspecialty of Retina. It also will sponsor former Fellows returning to Wills as guest speakers for the annual Retina Clinical Update series.

Gifts to the J. Arch McNamara, MD, Memorial Fund will help sustain our efforts to prevent blindness and improve sight for countless individuals who come to Wills from around the world. Thank you for your support in tribute to Dr. McNamara, who truly exemplified the Wills motto – Skill with Compassion.
